Happy Holidays

This week, I treated myself to a little impromptu covid retreat.

Not to worry, I'm doing fine and got to spend plenty of quality time with my youngest, who was sick for about 15 seconds.

To occupy ourselves, my house is now fully over-decorated, gifts are wrapped, and Cecile is now a BIG fan of holiday movies. I might have created a monster...

I love the Holidays, the preparation behind them, the letters to Santa, the lights, family time, and so many other things.

It's also a moment when brands shine with great advertising, dialing up that sense of connectedness and thoughtfulness that goes beyond their product for the Holidays.

So here are our favourites after watching an impressive amount of festive ads this week.

  • You'll learn that cranberries do know how to start a party.

  • Cardi B makes it rain during the holidays (pay attention to the copywriting. It's worth it)

  • If you like the movie Elf as we do, you'll like this one

  • Or if Home Alone is your favourite, like my friend Mel, Google's got you.

  • Katy Perry is fireworks in her lego dress

  • I'm now considering skateboarding after this one.

  • And last but not least, Ceci's fav who's all about friendship.

  • If none of those have done the trick for you, try watching a year in search 2022.

A fantastic recap to encapsulate what many of us have gone through this year, myself included, embracing change.

And on that, have a great Holiday break

Thank you for reading these emails

I wish you a happy and, more importantly, healthy new year.

See you in 2023.
